Magazine Cover Carolynne

Magazine Cover Carolynne

One of my images was used for the front cover of Local Women Magazine for the February 2019 Issue. The lady is Carolynne Harrison who is the General Manager of the Shandon Hotel & Spa. She was just so easy to work with but more importantly we had fun. We used the grounds of the Beechill Hotel near Derry. Hair & Make Up was done by Ash Hair & Beauty in Derry and clothing was supplied by Room 7 Boutique from Derry also. The day we got was a little overcast and not too cold given the time of year.

At Gerard Gormley Photography, I strive to get the best images possible wherever I am. You can follow me on Facebook at Gerard Gormley Photography and also on Instagram at Gerard Gormley Photography. I hope you enjoy the photos. If I can help you in any way with photography needs then please feel free to get in touch.  Many thanks Gerard Gormley Photography.

A little about me.

I’ve spent years helping people to find the perfect sole. In my shoe shop in the heart of Derry and now through my passion for photography
I get to photograph people with their soulmates! My daughter Bronagh and parents have always been and always will be a big part of my life. We have shared so many moments and enjoy looking at older photos and laughing together. Moments and the moments between moments during a wedding or a portrait session hold so much emotion. I love to capture images in a fun, natural and classic way. I’ve been passionate about photography for years, from the darkroom to my digital camera today, and storytelling is at the heart of what I do. I’m Gerard and I look forward to telling your story.

Irish Open Golf 2018

Irish Open Golf 2018

Irish Open golf 2018 On the 4th July this year i managed to get a Press Pass for the Irish Open Pro Am held at Ballyliffin Golf Club in Donegal.  At Gerard Gormley Photography i as always like to take images in a fun, natural and classic way.  The weather this day was hot and sunny – just perfect for the crowd watching – there was a huge attendance in what was a fantastic atmosphere for all there.  I manged to get in behind the ropes which meant i got better opportunities for photos and also to get closer to the action.  I managed to follow around after Rory McIlroy for a little while, which had a huge following. Please feel to get in touch with me at anytime if there is something that you think i can help with. You can find me here or on Facebook at Gerard Gormley Photography.  Please feel to share this post and thank you for looking.
