Hard As Oak is a 10km challenge like no other. Located in the picturesque Faughan Valley and incorporating all its finest features this really is a challenge like no other. They have a cliff jump, swings, rope climb, slip’n’slide, gorge climb, swamp, mature woodland, walled gardens, marsh, lanes, gullies, paths, streams, rivers, trenches, stone stairways, open fields and a plethora of obstacles built in around this varied terrain. I went along on the morning of the challenge to get some photos for Local Women Magazine.
These are just group shots that I have but there is a link for more action shots on the Hard As Oak page. At Gerard Gormley Photography, I strive for the best photos possible. If I can help in any way with your photography needs then please feel free to get in touch. You can also follow my work on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Many thanks for taking the time to look – Gerard Gormley Photography.
Some advice for Hard As Oak training. A running program should be your first step for building endurance. If you’re new to running, consider joining a local running club to get assistance from experienced runners who can help train and give advice as you become fitter. This will allow you to build up a moderate level of fitness, to introduce new training methods and develop skills.
