I went along to Custom House in Derry a few weeks ago to attend a charity fashion show in aid of Downs Syndrome – local retailers were showing off their new Spring ranges. It was packed and all there seemed to be having fun. Other than myself, the DJ and the male models, there were no other men lol. The ladies certainly know how to have fun. At Gerard Gormley Photography I always strive for the best images possible. Please feel free to contact me anytime. You can also follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
I was asked by Hannah’s mum Julie to capture some moments on the day of her confirmation. We met at Learmount Forest beside Park in County Derry. It is a beautiful place any time of year. We did not have to go far to find this place to get some photos – there was fun and laughter also. Here are just a few of the images we got. Many thanks to Julie for getting in touch. Please feel free to contact me for any photography needs. You can follow my work on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
I recently had to persuade three young ladies to go and try the High Tea available at the Beechill Hotel near Derry. This was part of my work with Local Women Magazine and is featured in this month’s magazine which is out now. We all met at the Beechill where the ladies were greeted and shown to a very plush dining area where they received some cocktails first – yes they did find this difficult but they struggled on. The High Tea arrived and let’s just say it did not last long. The ladies then moved on to a seating area where they sat in front of a gorgeous warm fire. They just had to indulge once more in some cocktails and some sweets. Again this was a struggle but they were troopers and kept going. They sat on for a while to let everything digest in the beautful surroundings of The Beechill Hotel. Many thanks to the owners and staff at the Beechill – it was a great experience had by all. At Gerard Gormley Photography, I strive to get the best images always. Please feel free to like and share this post and if I can help in any way with your photography needs then just get in touch. I got asked to take some images for D Cooley Jewellers from Shipquay Street in Derry City Centre. They are a long established jewellers and as well as being local, they are a family run business. You will find a large selection of jewellery for all the family needs. They have recently made an area in their shop for couples planning to get engaged – this is a more private area for couples. Many thanks to Brenda and Erin for their help. At Gerard Gormley Photography, I strive for only the very best images. Please feel free to contact me here if I can help you in any way. It was with great pleasure that I went along to get some photos of baby Vivian this week. It also happened to be with cousins so there was always going to be some fun which always helps. Fortunately, Vivian had just had her daily nap so she was in great form. At Gerard Gormley Photography, I strive for the best images possible.
